Many vinyl flooring on the market claim to be “waterproof” but are often times misleading. Our planks and tiles are technically waterproof, especially since they are made with 100% virgin vinyl material. But the truth is that no installation can guarantee a watertight seal. As a result, any liquid left to sit on a vinyl floor will eventually seep through the crevices in between joints, where mold and mildew can grow on the subfloor underneath.
